the data and

signals

The future of market leadership belongs to brands that act before the market shifts. The “data and signals" represent a radical shift from traditional, backward-looking tracking research to forward-looking analyses.  Instead of simply analyzing what consumers did last quarter, our work at Dotwise helps you see what they will likely do next.

At our core, we believe that tracking history is no longer enough to win and that true market intelligence requires foresight.

This is why Dotwise helps clients focus more on predictive metrics that capture early signals of shifting consumer behavior. This predictive clarity fuels proactive growth, empowering your team to optimize marketing spend, refine product roadmaps, and secure a lasting competitive advantage.

what we predicted:
community and pop-up experiences.

Against the backdrop of ever-increasing online shopping, we conducted a shoppers study to measure some brands’ performance vis-a-vis consumers’ changing expectations for retail experience.

The brand metric data revealed a major attitude shift from “I reach out to brands” to “I want brands to reach out to me” and predicted an upcoming trend of community and pop-up experiences.

Shoppers want quick access to products and services right where they live and work, expecting brands to bring the brand experience into their communities.  In recent years, we have seen more and more brands responding to this trend.

bookstore giant:
from mega stores to neighborhood shops

An international bookstore giant used to be present only in central business locations, like big shopping malls that people have to travel to.  Nowadays they also have community stores, which are smaller, neighborhood-focused local branches, blending books with community, family, and daily living concepts, and bringing the brand experience to people’s door steps.

horse racing: from central racecourses to community hubs

The thrill of horse racing tracks has moved closer to home. Horse racing fans can now experience the great excitement of horse racing in local entertainment centers and cafes right in their own neighborhoods, without traveling to distant racecourses. These hubs seamlessly blend the energy of the sport with excellent food, entertainment, and a vibrant social atmosphere.
